• How Apple and Amazon Security Flaws Led to My Epic Hacking: Epic post from Mat Honan, about how several of his online accounts were compromised over the weekend, leading to all of his data being deleted. It's stunning how easy it is to takeover (via clever use of each companies policies) Amazon and Apple accounts. Scary stuff.

• How the Bay Bridge Used LEDs to Redefine Lighting: This sounds pretty cool. Can't wait to test this out when the new bridge opens...

• republic wireless: Another new MVNO, that looks pretty cool. Only $20/mo for unlimited everything, but the catch is that they want you to make the majority of your calls over WiFi. That isn't a catch for me — because most of the time I'm using my phone either at home or at work, where I have WiFi. The real drawback, IMO, is that it's limited to one particular Android phone.
