• Lucid dream: Ars reviews Ubuntu 10.04: Long, thorough review of the new Ubuntu from Ryan Paul. The short of it: Ubuntu continues to improve, but it doesn't quite sound like the user experience is quite up to Apple's level yet.

• Auto graphic switching and dwindling MacBook Pro batteries: Greate analysis of some wrinkles with the graphics setup in the new MacBook Pro from Ars Technica. This is clearly something that Apple is going to refine over time.
