Dead Trees is a Dead Model - Guest Post by Barry Eisler: Great counterpoint to the notion that ebooks and paper books can co-exist. I for one, am not going to miss reading print on dead trees.
Electronista | Dell sees sales growth for Mini 9s with Ubuntu: Good news for Linux on the desktop -- I think that Linux on a netbook actually makes a lot of sense, I'm glad to see a contrast to what MSI claimed in the press a few months ago.
Electronista | Intel letter bashes NVIDIA Ion platform: While I can understand where Intel is coming from - it doesn't make sense to let 3rd parties cannibalize its chipset sales, I don't see how the EU is going to let them get away with this. Worse, it's going to force NVIDIA to start making it's own x86-based chips, as has been rumored. Then they'll have another CPU competitor to deal with.
