• Business Technology : Jobs Still Hearts Intel: I think it's pretty safe to ignore all of the "Mac is going back to PowerPC" tripe - it is ridicuously difficult to make a world-class CPU like the Core 2 Duo (see AMD's struggles with Phenom), thus I think the Mac will be on Intel for a long while.

• The crazy baseball fan rule (Scripting News): Great point by Dave Winer about how the mainstream media is covering the campaign. The MSM's campaign coverage has really been bugging me (as hilarilusly skewered by The Daily Show), at some point, this is going to have to change.

• Nintendo earnings reveal an unstoppable gaming juggernaut: I think that the Wii is a great little machine, and the market has come in with strong support for my position.

• Philip Greenspun’s Weblog » Statins, cholesterol, health: Usually what you see is "excessive executive compenstation is bad" - but what's nice about this blog post is that it delves into exactly why this can be bad.

• Electronista | Dell unveils eco-friendly compact bamboo PC: I have yet to see the full specs on this, but judging by the pictures it looks like Dell might finally be giving Apple some competition - the PC looks compact like a Mac mini, and the monitor doesn't look completely ugly.
