While I think I'm a bit more negative on iOS 7 than most, I will eventually upgrade, and when I get away from the look and feel, it seems like there really are some nice things in the new iOS. The future of Firefly will finally be revealed in a new Serenity comic: Yes, I am officially excited for this.

Steam Machines: I like what Valve is announcing here, but without a major exclusive game (Half-Live 3, I'm looking in your direction), I don't see how this platform is really going to take off. You have to get a lot of these boxes into people's homes for the software to flow, and a hit, exclusive game is the time-honored way to do that.

Amazon's Kindle Fire HDX: power, with a helping hand: The new Kindle Fires look impressive at first glance, and I'll be curious to how they stand up under a full review. And of course, now I'm even more interested to see what Apple does with the iPad this year.
