  • Inside Dropbox's Quest to Bury the Hard Drive: I have been a remarkably happy Dropbox customer for many years now. This is one of the companies that I'm really rooting for.

  • Intel Corporation (INTC): Intel And Apple: An Interesting Tidbit: If this were true, it would spell a radical shift in the industry. Alas, Intel fabbing Apple's chips has not come to pass. (via Daring Fireball)

  • The power of failure: making 'The Last of Us': "The Last of Us" wasn't just the best game that I have played this year, but is one of the best games that I have ever played. It's impressive how much effort went into refining the core ideas, but at least it translated to a great game.

  • AnandTech | The iPhone 5s Review: Anand is first with a killer review of the iPhone 5S. From the conclusion:

"The A7 SoC is seriously impressive. Apple calls it a desktop-class SoC, but I'd rather refer to it as something capable of competing with the best Intel has to offer in this market. In many cases the A7's dual cores were competitive with Intel's recently announced Bay Trail SoC. Web browsing is ultimately where I noticed the A7's performance the most. As long as I was on a good internet connection, web pages just appeared after resolving DNS."
Holy crap, do I want that. The wait for an A7-based iPad just officially became unbearable.
