  • The Anti-Apple: Horace Dediu comparing Amazon and Apple:

"At an even deeper level, Apple and Amazon are much more alike than they are different. They are both hired for similar jobs (convenience, ease of use and a controlled, predictable environment for average users interacting with technology). They both focus on delighting customers and controlling all the variables which come into contact with that delight. They both have long-term views and are driven by vision rather than competition."

  • While We’re Trying To Follow His Game Of Checkers, Jeff Bezos Is Playing Chess: Love this article form MG Siegler. At this juncture, Amazon (and Jeff Bezos) just might be the most interesting tech company to pay attention to.

  • Moto X review: I think with the Moto X, Google is trying to turn Android from something that focuses on features and specs, to a more holistic platform that focuses on user experience. To put it another way, it looks like Motorola is going to focus on building more polished experiences, free of rough edges. If so, this will be great for the market, as it will give Apple a true competitor in the "highly refined, high-end smartphone" space.
