Sendoff: Jon "Hannibal" Stokes marches his elephant army out of Ars: This is something of a bummer — Jon Stokes is one of the main reasons that I read Ars Technica. Hopefully, he'll continue writing about technology, in some forum or another.
Page's mistake: Dave Winer, in a post-post-mortem on Google+, on what Google should really be focusing on. Interesting food for thought.
The real reason behind India’s lack of startups/innovation: Not sure that I agree with thsi broad generalization, because I think that there are innovative new companies launching in India. However, the rigidity of education is something that we struggle with here, and is a valid concern.
HP TouchPad review: I've been waiting patiently for Josh Topolsky's review, and it is as I have feared — Palm has released another fantastic product, that is marred by a few glaring flaws. I want Apple to have some strong competition, so I've been toying with putting my money where my mouth is, and buying one of these things. Now, I'm not so sure.
Captain America: The First Avenger trailer: This trailer actually looks decent, and even more surprising is that it features a Tool song. Surprising not that "46 & 2" doesn't fit, but that Tool rarely licenses their music for commercial use.
