  • Her baby wasn't expected to live, but Nebraska law banned abortion: Heartbreaking story. I don't understand how you can be for smaller government, and be pro life. It's just promoting the government meddling in people's lives, which is the antithesis of the small government rhetoric. (via Mike Hunter)

  • Can an iPhone Personal Hotspot Plan Take Over for a 3G iPad?: I think that buying an iPad has gotten to be a bit too complicated, and this 3G business is why. For what it's worth, I think if Apple made a hybrid Verizon/AT&T 3G iPad, then it might be worth it, but the fact that you have to choose the network up front, makes the WiFi model a lot more attractive.

    "'It is virtually impossible to imagine how one closes Guantanamo in light of this executive order,' said Anthony Romero, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union. 'In a little over two years, the Obama administration has done a complete about-face.'"
