  • HP / Palm tablet to feature Touchstone dock, cloud storage, Beats audio and Tap-to-Share smartphone integration: More webOS rumors from Engadget, including:

"The survey also mentions "Tap-to-Share." A feature that lets users easily transfer a website, document, or song from the phone to the tablet (or vice versa) simply by tapping the two devices together — something previously hinted at in the last bullet on this slide which describes an ability to seamlessly move app and content experiences from phone or PC to slate."

    Two things about this:

    1. This sounds totally awesome.

    2. I have also heard this same thing, via another source.

I'm really looking forward to Palm's February 9th event.

  • What Hollywood Execs Privately Say About Netflix: I think that Netflix has a tough road ahead. As the video over TCP/IP business matures, the big Hollywood studios are going to want to get into the distribution game themselves. And thus they will become content providers and competitors to Netflix. Which stinks, because Netflix is very well designed, from an end-user perspective.
