Tonight after work was the Sugar Holiday party, and it was a much fancier affair than usual. Way above my normal level of attire was required. That's right, I actually had to wear a tie. For those of us who encountered CEO Brian Sugar early on, he handed out a quest — to go off and find someone specific, introduce yourself, and send him photographic proof.

My quest was to meet Elsa, resident ass-kicker in charge of all art and design at Sugar:

I don't think I've ever had a conversation with Elsa before, and it was great to meet her, and learn a bunch about a department that I don't interact with much. So thanks Brian for the quest — mission accomplished.

Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my "good" camera, and The Press Club, being a fancy establishment, had the mood lighting going on. So I did the best I could with my iPhone, but I didn't get too many great photos. The best of what I got is on Flickr, and that will have to do. Hopefully somebody else in attendance got some better photos than I did (*cough* Sabrina *cough*).
