  • iPhone OS 4.0 – No Beta 5 – WWDC update?: Due to all of the leaks, I'm guessing that the new iPhone hardware is in manufacturing. That means that it'll probably ship by the end of June, and in order for that to happen, the OS has to be finished, so that Apple can flash it onto the phone before shipping. Thus, I'm thinking that it's unlikely, for better or worse, that we'll see another beta of iPhone OS at WWDC. Instead, I'm guessing that the final version will be released.

  • HP CEO: "We didn't buy Palm to be in the smartphone business": Huge bummer.

  • Are Cameras the New Guns?:

"In response to a flood of Facebook and YouTube videos that depict police abuse, a new trend in law enforcement is gaining popularity. In at least three states (Illinois, Massachusetts, and Maryland), it is now illegal to record an on-duty police officer even if the encounter involves you and may be necessary to your defense, and even if the recording is on a public street where no expectation of privacy exists."

Seems like some totalitarian bullshit to me.
