  • STEAM WARS: Pretty cool. I'd watch a Steampunk Star Wars movie.

  • World Water Day: Some amazing photos from The Big Picture blog. Especially #5, #17, #34, and #39.

  • Apple Tweaks Serial Number Format With New MacBook Pro: Talk about some Apple minutiae. But then again, that's the kind of stuff that I like. :)

  • AMD and Apple? It could happen with the iMac: I'm not sure about this AMD/Apple thing. Apple already uses AMD graphics chips (and will likely continue to do so). And Intel is causing some problems, mainly by persisting in having such crappy graphics options of it's own. But I'm just not sure that Apple wants to devote extra engineering resources into maintaining support for two different CPU types on the Mac.

  • Early numbers show surprisingly high iPad browser share: In order to be a hit, not only does Apple have to sell a lot of iPads, but people actually have to use them beyond the first week or two. So, I'll be keeping my eye on stories like these.

  • Apple iAd Team Visits Hill Holliday, Shares Details: I think that iAd is going to be a pretty big deal. The whole thing really demonstrates how little Google has innovated over the past several years, especially when it comes to mobile. While I'm not a big fan of advertising, I think that the design of the iAds is such that they won't be too annoying. I'm wary of how Apple might target the ads, however.
