Can iTunes HD Replace Blu-ray?: Pretty good rundown of the current state of movies on iTunes vs. Blu-Ray. While iTunes still loses, it does appear to be getting closer.
Mac Pro Audio Update firmware cuts performance lag: Good to see that Apple has truly fixed the power issue with the Mac Pro, but it's a little disappointing to see that the iMac is in some cases faster than it's much more expensive sibling. (via MacRumors).
Piracy versus paying: I'm with David Chartier on this. I got "The Invention Of Lying" from Netflix yesterday, and it had a 13 minute sequence of trailers at the beginning of the DVD that were not easily skippable. Stunningly annoying.
Hulu for iPad Likely to Be a Paid Subscription Service: While theoretically, I'm not adverse to paying for Hulu, I don't get why it should cost money to view on an iPad, while it's free on my iMac. At a certain level, it's all the same stuff, an h.264 stream going over TCP/IP through my Comcast Internet connection.
