Dell goes pro with 27-inch UltraSharp U2711 WQHD LCD monitor: This might be the same panel that is in the new 27" iMac. I've been scouting out monitors for awhile now, and this one looks like a strong contender to be in my future possession.
The screen on the June 2010 iPhone?: I was thinking about what the June 2010 iPhone might be like today, and I'm convinced at this point that Apple is going to do a higher resolution screen (thus causing issues for developers), in order to keep up with the DROID's and Nexus One's of the world. However, I'm wondering if Apple can go farther than just a higher resolution, and actually make a phone that is a bit wider, in order to accommodate a bigger screen. As it turns out, HTC is already making such a device.Food for thought.
Sony Cyber-shots go 'Bananas!' with GPS+Compass, SD card, HD video: Dang it! The new Sony HX5V camera has an SD card and built-in GPS, two things I wish that my new camera had. I knew I should have waited. ;) Judging by other announcements, it looks like Memory Stick is finally on the way out. Good riddance, I say.
Motorola Backflip hands-on: I'll say this for Motorola, their designers definitely think outside the box. Having the keyboard exposed when the phone is closed seems odd, but some nice things fall out of that design. The touch pad is interesting, as is the 45-degree angle alarm clock mode.
User Experience Matters: What Entrepreneurs Can Learn From “Objectifiedâ€: I saw "Objectified" over the break, and it was worth it just for the interview with Jonathan Ive.
Warner makes Netflix delay new movies 4 weeks: Lame, but honestly, I don't think this will affect me. I have so many movies / TV shows / etc. vying for my time, that I'll just wait the month.
HP goes netbooks with Mini 2101, 210 and Compaq 201: This new HP mini actually looks pretty cool (I recommend watching the video). Supposedly, it goes on sale tomorrow.
