Last weekends hike was up in the Mt. Tamalpais area, which is always a great hike. This was my third time, but my first time leading the charge. I initiated several "Mt. Tam virgins", and I think that once they got over the initial part of the hike (which is steep), they all enjoyed it. And it was pretty nice this time of year — not too hot, and just starting to be some water in the various creeks. I took an unfortunate step on the Steep Ravine trail, and sprained my ankle, but was able to walk it off and finish the hike (although it didn't feel so good the next day). All-in-all, a successful trip:

More pictures on Flickr (of course). And a few more of my favorites after the break.
