I'm pretty sure the last time that I ran BeOS was in '98, shortly after they ported to Intel (I strongly considered buying a PowerPC machine to run BeOS earlier, but couldn't spare the cash). And now, thanks to the review I read of Haiku today, I'm running BeOS again:

So far, it's been fun playing, but performance in my VM has been lacking. If you decided to download the ISO and install it in VMware from scratch (like I did), you'll want to read this howto (specifically the part about bootman) and this page about tweaking the VMware vmx file to enable networking.
