After wasting a good chunk of the morning making some extra backups beyond what Time Machine offers, I finally was ready to take the plunge. Unfortunately, the Snow Leopard installer isn't buying my startup disk:
The Mac OS X Snow Leopard installer doesn't like my iMac, for some reason
I'm totally able to boot of the disk fine, but the Installer claims that the drive isn't bootable. I installed Linux about a month ago, booted via rEFIt. However, I uninstalled rEFIt (which was super-easy, by the way), repaired permissions, etc. and the Snow Leopard installer is still pulling up its nose.
So now, I'm making even more backups, and preparing to do an Erase and Install. And while I wait for these backups to complete? I'm actually cleaning my apartment, and preparing to unpack some things from my move (which was what, in June?). So not what I want to be doing right now. ;)
