  • TidBITS Business Apps: Dropbox: A Collaborator's Dream: I whole-heartedly agree about DropBox -- I installed it after kicking MobileMe to the curb last year, and I have been fantastically happy with it. DropBox keeps my files in sync, and unlike iDisk it is fast, and hasn't spit an error dialog out at me yet. If you're looking to sync files between multiple machines, I can't recommend DropBox enough.

  • Design Observer - Hiroshima: The Lost Photographs: Pretty interesting story of how some lost photographs from the bombing of Hiroshima were found, and are now seeing the light of day.

  • Steve Jobs: The Rolling Stone Interview : Rolling Stone: Fantastic interview with Steve Jobs from 2003, back when the iTunes Music Store (as it was called back then) was still relatively new. It's great to look back 5 years on, and see how Steve's sense of the music market really was prescient. One of the best quotes, glimpses the demise of DRM:

"When we first went to talk to these record companies -- you know, it was a while ago. It took us 18 months. And at first we said: None of this technology that you're talking about's gonna work. We have Ph.D.'s here, that know the stuff cold, and we don't believe it's possible to protect digital content."
