Sony VAIO P ripped apart - Engadget: Pretty amazing piece of engineering. Looks like the 2Gb of RAM is soldered onto the motherboard (same is in the MacBook Air). The early impressions that I've seen of this thing seem positive -- but I'm going reserve judgement until this thing is properly benchmarked.

OQO launches world's smallest Vista PC with OLED screen: Hmmm, only \$1000. It's too bad OQO isn't in retail, because I would really like to play with one of these. While the price of the OQO has certainly come down, it's still too expensive to be in the \"toy\" category. I'll be interested to read more reports on this device.

Lyrics for \"Commentary! The Musical\": I think that the musical commentary for \"Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog\" was a little bit over-hyped -- it was good, but not as good as Dr. Horrible itself. I did really like Nathan Fillion's song, tho.

Sony Vaio P Series: Sony has finally taken the wraps off of their new netbook. Looks pretty interesting, but too pricey for me to take the plunge immediately. I'll be interested to read the reviews after this thing ships, however.

New media extenders use Internet video services as back-end: I've been toying with building one of these myself (just getting an Atom motherboard and a little bit of flash, and going with Linux), so I'll definitely be keeping my eye on these devices. At this point, it's looking like flash on the web is going to be the TV replacement standard that wins.
