There is this gas station in San Mateo, that is doing some amazing work in the realm of gas prices. I mean really, truly, innovative stuff. I was so impressed on Wednesday, that I took this picture while at a stop light:

But it's okay America, because we all know that the price of gas isn't going to hit $4/gallon any time soon...

Wait, what? That's over a full dollar more than in Chicago and Chicago has traditionally had some of the highest prices in the country. SF usually edges it out by like a dime but $4.50? Dizam.
On the plus side this price pressure should lower CO2 emissions. On the minus side it's four fucking fifty a gallon.
Is this the actual price or did some guy just put up the wrong numbers?
Nope, it is the real price. This particular gas station is always a bit higher than others in the area. But, it probably won't be too long until you're paying this price as well. ;)
