Microsoft’s New CEO Needs An Editor: More great analysis from Jean-Louis Gassée. We'll see if his prediction (Microsoft bailing on mobile) comes true. My guess is that it will eventually happen, but way past when the game will obviously be over for Windows Mobile.
Audio Improvements in Android 5.0 L: It's good to see Google improving audio support in it's popular OS. But while Android supporters tout Google's ability to update Android in-place via the Google Play Services library (part of the Play Store app), it looks like these improvements are baked into the OS. Thus, it will be a long time before your average Android user is able to enjoy a bump in audio quality.
