See a fashion icon take on Google Glass: I don't understand what Google is doing with Glass. It seems like it's still in the prototype stage, yet Google is doing events like this that seem to make me think that they want Glass to be mainstream.
iOS 8 lets iPhone MFi game controllers work w/ iPad & Mac, Game Center hits 130m monthly active users: I've been looking into this again, and the state of controller-based gaming on iOS still looks pretty grim to me. The controllers are still expensive, and it's hard to find what games really work great with a controller. I think Apple could really bootstrap this ecosystem if they allowed bluetooth PS3/PS4 and Xbox controllers to work on iOS. This would unlock a huge collection of controllers that people already own, and drive up demand for games with controller support.
Apple introduces MFi specs for Lightning cable headphones, support arriving in future iOS update: As someone who is: a) in the market for new headphones, and b) pretty interested in high end audio and DACs, this is a very interesting rumor. Definitely something that I'll be keeping my eye on.
