• Marco.org - The more I think and learn about the curious...: Marco Arment examines the competitive position of the new 27" iMac with the rest of the market. Good companion to my piece on Mac mini and Mac Pro pricing.

• LLVM 2.6 Release Notes: Congratulations to the LLVM team on the 2.6 release. Looks like tons of new improvements, including a production-grade Clang. I thought this tidbit from the release notes was interesting, though:

  The Itanium (IA64) backend has been removed. It was not actively supported and had bitrotted.
