Time to Leave the Laptop Behind - WSJ.com: I lived off of my iPhone for two weeks when I was in India and Dubai -- so the thrust of this article is definitely plausible. Given a few more hardware and software revisions, replacing the laptop with the phone could become pretty mainstream.
First look at Windows 7's User Interface: Aside from totally ripping off the Mac OS X dock, the new window sizing features and "peeking" features actually sound pretty cool. I'll have to see how it actually works in practice, of course.
Mac Daddy World » Blog Archive » Adventures in Cocotron: Cocotron is looking pretty interesting. If Mac OS X ever becomes hostile to 3rd party developers, maybe this will help if we all have to make a mass migration to Linux.

MSI will ship up to 700,000 Wind netbooks this year: While I haven't seen a round-up yet, anecdotal evidence points to netbooks being strong sellers. Is that what its going to take to force Apple's hand to get into this market? Time will tell.
10-inch Mini 1000 appears on HP website - Engadget: I have had a chance to play with the first HP mini note - and while the form factor and designed seemed pretty nice, the VIA C7 left something to be desired (both in terms of its poor performance and massive heat output). If HP has solved that problem with this new model, then it will be very interesting.
Dell launches the Inspiron Mini 12 - Engadget: I'm still intensely interested in the Netbook market - this new Dell 12" netbook actually looks like it might be a credible competitor to the MacBook Air. I'll be interested to read the reviews when it finally ships.
Electronista | iPhone tethering held back by AT: This must explain why Apple's latest round of notebooks don't include a built-in 3G modem -- Apple wants you to be able to get to the internet via your iPhone. While that sure would be awesome, I'm not holding my breath that AT&T is going to step up here.
MPAA to EFF on RealDVD lawsuit: you're living in the past: This is why Apple doesn't add DVD ripping to iTunes (even though that would be stupendously awesome, and bring movies to parity with music). Also, the MPAA sucks.
